Brazilian Marketplace Inventa Raises $20 Million in Series A Funding

New York – February 7, 2022 – Cooley advised Inventa, a Brazil-based business-to-business marketplace, on its $20 million Series A funding round, which was co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and Monashees. Lawyers Stephane Levy, Andres Medina-Jordan and Grant Page led the Cooley team advising Inventa, and Alexander Lee advised on tax.

Launched in 2021, Inventa announced $5.5 million in seed funding last October. The company’s mission is to make the lives of millions of entrepreneurs in Latin America easier by connecting brands to small retailers, and facilitating the entire process of purchasing, selecting and discovering new products, credit, logistics and services.
