Law360 Ranks Cooley #3 on Law Firm Leaderboard
Palo Alto – January 26, 2022 – Law360 has recognized Cooley on its inaugural Law Firm Leaderboard list, ranking the firm #3 overall and further spotlighting Cooley’s large footprint in high-profile litigation and transaction work. The ranking is a culmination of Law360’s holistic look at how law firms in the US measure up.
Law360 evaluated firms in each of three pillars: social impact, prestige and practice footprint. Cooley previously ranked as a Social Impact Leader for its pro bono work, promotion of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, legal industry and communities it serves, and for an authentic workplace culture that improves job satisfaction and fulfillment. The firm was also highlighted as a Prestige Leader for its prominence, power and distinction. The practice footprint pillar evaluated firms based on data from LexisNexis that covered firms’ work on public mergers and acquisitions, registered offerings and federal district court litigation. Each pillar was equally weighted to determine a final composite score.
