Cooley: A Fortune Best Workplace in New York for Fourth Year
New York – July 16, 2021 – For the fourth year in a row, Fortune named Cooley to its Best Workplaces in New York list, ranking the firm #17 of all large companies in the state.
“There is a very entrepreneurial spirit here, across the board. This feels very unique for a law firm and takes a lot of the anxiety out of what could otherwise be a stressful ‘Big Law’ environment,” said an anonymous Cooley employee quoted in Fortune’s profile.
To determine the 2021 Best Workplaces in New York list, Fortune partner Great Place to Work analyzed confidential survey feedback from more than 78,000 employees in the New York state or surrounding metropolitan areas. Employees responded to more than 60 survey questions. Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on employee survey responses on their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization. The remaining 15 percent of the rank is based on an assessment of all employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, and the effectiveness of their leaders.
Cooley is consistently recognized for its dedication to its employees and its unique culture, earning annual placement on Fortune best workplaces lists for women, millennials, diversity and parents. Crain’s New York Business has also recognized Cooley as a Best Place to Work in New York City.
