Riverwood Capital Partners Leads Series C for Singapore-based Insider

Singapore – July 31, 2020 – Cooley advised Riverwood Capital Partners as the lead investor in SaaS company Insider’s $32 million Series C financing round. Sequoia, Wamda and Endeavor Catalyst also participated. Matthew Bartus, Singapore-based Cooley partner and co-chair of the firm’s global emerging companies and venture capital practices, led the team alongside New York-based partner Adam Dinow. 

The additional capital will be used to further enhance Insider’s award-winning capabilities, add top-tier engineers to its exceptional research and development team and invest in its global sales and marketing efforts. The capital will also allow Insider to expand its global reach, starting with the US market. As part of the transaction, Jo De Pinho, vice president of Riverwood Capital, will join Insider’s board of directors. 

Insider’s AI-powered platform enables enterprise marketers to connect customer data across channels and systems, predict their future behavior with an AI-powered intent engine and orchestrate and deliver individualized experiences to customers. Insider’s 800+ customer base includes leading brands such as Singapore Airlines, Marks & Spencer, Virgin, Uniqlo, Samsung and Estée Lauder.
