The team has worked on an impressive range of buy- and sell-side deals in the technology and life sciences spaces, including Sunrun’s acquisition of Vivint Solar for an enterprise value of $3.2 billion, Zoom’s acquisition of Keybase, Forty Seven’s sale to Gilead for $4.9 billion and Portola’s sale to Alexion for $1.41 billion. Cooley has also advised a number of special purpose acquisition company transactions, including Hyliion’s merger with Tortoise, a SPAC.
