Cooley Inks Lease for New San Diego Campus

San Diego – June 22, 2020 – Global law firm Cooley has signed a lease on a state-of-the-art space at The Boardwalk on Science Center Drive in San Diego. More than 200 employees will occupy approximately 74,000 square feet in an area of the city focused on innovation and life sciences.

“Cooley was the first Silicon Valley law firm to launch in San Diego in 1992,” said Mike Attanasio, partner in charge of Cooley’s San Diego office. “This move allows us to continue building on our foundation in the region while being centrally located to our world-class clients. I am excited to further strengthen our commitment to the San Diego market and our people.”

The Boardwalk’s three-building campus will be a LEED-certified Class A space offering a first-class amenity package including a one-acre park, a full-service restaurant, indoor and outdoor meeting areas and a fitness center. The development is currently under construction and will be the San Diego flagship venue for Irvine-based Healthpeak Properties.
