BTI Recognizes Cooley’s Innovation and Tech Leadership

September 13, 2018

Palo Alto – September 13, 2018 – BTI Consulting Group recognized Cooley on its 2019 Legal Innovation and Technology Outlook report, identifying the firm as one of the “absolute best” at embracing and using technology to bring innovation to the legal market and client service.

“We’re constantly considering different angles to best serve our diverse and talented client base,” said Mike Lincoln, chair of Cooley’s business department. “Working with industry disruptors and innovators to help them focus on creating transformative technologies gives us a unique opportunity to improve how we engage with our clients and one another.”

“Collaboration is at the root of our values at Cooley, and our successes heavily depend on working across global departments and teams to achieve victories for our clients,” added Mike Attanasio, chair of Cooley’s litigation department. “It’s especially rewarding to be singled out for our efforts.”

BTI conducted more than 359 in-depth interviews with strategically selected top legal decision makers in US companies with $1 billion or more in revenue. Corporate counsel were asked to identify the law firms reshaping the legal industry.

Cooley consistently earns a place on BTI’s rankings. In June, BTI named Cooley to its Highest Rate Firms report, distinguishing it as one of six firms whose rates are among the highest – and worth it. BTI also identified Cooley as the “best of the best” for providing clients the most value for the dollar on its Client Service A-Team 30 report in December, on which Cooley ranked #5 overall.
