PeopleDoc Sells to Ultimate Software

New York – September 12, 2018 – Cooley advised cloud-based HR company PeopleDoc on its sale to Ultimate Software for approximately $300 million. Partners Stephane Levy and Meredith Beuchaw led the Cooley team advising PeopleDoc on the transaction, which closed in late July.

PeopleDoc will continue operating globally as a wholly owned subsidiary of Ultimate, delivering, selling and supporting cloud-based HR service delivery solutions that integrate with multiple human capital management platforms to organizations based in North America and Europe.

PeopleDoc, based in Paris, was founded in 2007 with the mission of making it easier for HR teams to elevate the level of service they provide to their employees. It has more than 1,000 customers with users in 180 countries.
