Cooley Shortlisted for London Office of the Year

London – October 30, 2017 – Legal Week has shortlisted Cooley for its annual London Office of the Year award. The winner will be announced at the British Legal Awards on November 30.

The British Legal Awards showcase the achievements of one of the country's most successful sectors. Hosted by ALM’s Legal Week in association with The City of London Law Society, the glittering awards ceremony is attended by 1,000 lawyers representing the cream of the UK's legal community.

Cooley previously earned the London Office of the Year award in 2015, following the opening of its London office in January of the same year. From the outset, the office has offered depth of service across key areas, including corporate/M&A, complex litigation, venture capital, technology transactions, IP, tax, competition and privacy, and since launch, has grown by nearly 50% in headcount to more than 80 lawyers. 

Cooley rose seven places in The Lawyer’s Global Litigation 50 report and is #13 on Law360’s Litigation Powerhouse report of the top 100 litigation firms. Earlier this year, The Lawyer also recognized Cooley tax partner Natasha Kaye and litigation associate Sascha Grimm in its annual Hot 100 list.
