Barbara Borden + Heidi Keefe Named Top Women Lawyers

Palo Alto – May 31, 2017 – The Daily Journal has again recognized Cooley partners Barbara Borden and Heidi Keefe as Top Women Lawyers in its annual special report. They were previously recognized in the 2015 and 2014 editions of the report.

Borden is co-chair of Cooley’s M&A practice and focuses cross-border transactions, joint ventures and other complex transactions and public securities law. She represents strategic and financial buyers and sellers in public and private acquisitions and has significant experience in counseling boards of directors in connection with M&A and related governance and anti-takeover matters.

Keefe is a first-chair trial lawyer with two decades of experience representing some of the hottest tech companies in the world in complex patent litigation. A former astrophysicist and registered patent attorney, she easily understands a variety of technical disciplines, from software to medical devices.

In 2016, Borden and Keefe were also named to The Recorder’s elite Women Leaders in Tech Law list, along with other leading Cooley partners Mika Reiner Mayer and Michelle Rhyu.
