Halt Medical, a Brentwood, Calif.-based healthcare company focused on procedures for the treatment of women with symptomatic uterine fibroids, filed for chapter 11 protection on Wednesday in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, setting up a 363 sale for substantially all its assets after entry into asset purchase agreement with stalking horse bidder Acessa AssetCo.
