Cooley Wins Distressed M&A Deal of the Year

New York – July 1, 2015 – At the seventh annual Turnaround Atlas Awards, Cooley was awarded the "Cross Border Distressed M&A Deal of the Year" in the $150 million+ category for its representation of  the official committee of unsecured creditors of Brookstone Stores in its sale to China-based Sailing Capital.

The corporate restructuring and bankruptcy attorneys who advised the unsecured creditors in this award-winning transaction included partners Jay Indyke and Cathy Hershcopf and associate Robert Winning.
