National LGBT Bar Association Names Kyle Wong to "Best Lawyers Under 40" List

San Francisco – July 16, 2014 – Cooley LLP announced today that Kyle C. Wong, special counsel in its litigation department, was named to the National LGBT Bar Association's list of the "Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40 – Class of 2014."

The annual list recognizes 40 LGBT legal professionals under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their field and demonstrated a profound commitment to LGBT equality. The National LGBT Bar Association comprises lawyers, judges and other legal professionals, law students, activists and affiliated lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender legal organizations. The LGBT Bar promotes justice in and through the legal profession for the LGBT community in all its diversity.

Wong's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation including privacy matters, class actions, and antitrust and trade regulation. He has also represented clients in a number of appeals and writ proceedings in the federal and state appellate courts, including the California and United States Supreme Courts. Most recently, Wong has been part of Cooley teams representing Google and Facebook in several privacy class actions in state and federal court.
