Daily Journal Names Three Cooley Corporate Partners "Top Emerging Companies Lawyers"

Palo Alto, Calif. – February 14, 2014 – Cooley LLP announced today that partners Craig Jacoby, Eric Jensen and Dave Young were named "Top Emerging Companies Lawyers" by the Daily Journal. This is the first time the publication has published the list.

Craig Jacoby is the chair of Cooley's emerging companies practice and resides in the firm's San Francisco office. His practice focuses on the representation of high growth companies and their investors. In the past five years, he has led hundreds of startup financings, with an aggregate value in excess of $1 billion, and has managed teams advising companies on several dozen mergers and acquisitions. Eric Jensen is a corporate partner based in Cooley's Palo Alto office. He is a member of the firm's Management Committee. Jensen practices securities and corporate law, with an emphasis on the representation of emerging and public software, internet, systems and other technology companies. Dave Young is a corporate partner resident in Cooley's Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on the representation of emerging growth companies at all stages, as well as the venture capital firms, strategic investors and investment banks that finance these companies.
