Washington, DC – April 2, 2014 – Cooley LLP announced today that its Washington, DC and Reston, VA offices have again been named to the Washington Business Journal's "Best Places to Work" list for 2014, marking the third consecutive year that the Cooley offices have received this distinction. The list identifies the top workplaces in the Metro DC area.

"We're proud to be recognized by the WBJ for the third year in a row," said Ryan Naftulin, partner-in-charge of Cooley's DC office. "Following our recent merger with Dow Lohnes, this is a great accomplishment and a testament to how all of our people came together as one firm to serve our clients in true team fashion."

"It's an honor to be named to the list of ‘Best Places to Work' in the Metro DC area," said Frank Pietrantonio, partner-in-charge of Cooley's Reston office. "Our placement on the list is a continuing affirmation of our firm's unique culture. Moreover, it is a tribute to our employees' collective efforts to support each other in contributing to the success of the firm and its clients."

Cooley's January 1, 2014 merger with the DC boutique Dow Lohnes added three premier regulatory practices in communications, higher education and media. The nearly 250 attorneys in Cooley's resident DC and Reston offices collaborate with colleagues across the firm to serve leading Mid-Atlantic businesses and innovators, as well as a national and global client base that includes some of the world's most dynamic companies.
