Los Angeles – August 14, 2014 – Cooley LLP announced today that it is advising BeachMint on its business combination with Lucky Magazine, a division of Conde Nast, which will result in the formation of a new company called The Lucky Group. BeachMint is a next generation e-commerce company. Their brands, JewelMint, ShoeMint, StyleMint and IntiMint operate subscription based sites that feature their own branded products, designer collaborations and up and coming fashion brands. BeachMint's investors include Accel Partners, Anthem Venture Partners, Lightbank, New Enterprise Associates, Pritzker Group Venture Capital, Scale Venture Partners and Trinity Ventures.
BeachMint's Josh Berman will become CEO of The Lucky Group, will be led by, Lucky's Eva Chen will be chief creative officer and Gillian Gorman Round will be president.
