Cooley Partners with Xconomy to Launch Publication's New Texas Branch

Seattle, Wash. – April 30, 2013 – Cooley LLP announced today that it partnered with technology news and event site Xconomy to help launch the publication's eighth branch in Texas.

The Xconomy branch comes to Texas to share with readers its contributions in energy, life sciences and technology, as well as stories of innovations coming out of its startups, universities and research centers.

"Texas has flown under the radar as a hot spot for innovation, and the opening of the Xconomy branch is going to change that," said Cooley Litigation partner Bill Christiansen, who spearheaded the Cooley sponsorship. "Xconomy is a valuable resource that will highlight the myriad of life science and technology achievements, as well as opportunities that the state of Texas has to offer. Given our deep expertise with life science startups, we can't wait to lend a hand."
