Cooley Helps Underwrite Inaugural Women Leadership Event

Broomfield, Colo. – February 1, 2013 – Cooley LLP announced today that it is one of 30 organizations who are underwriting the Women's Council's Women Inspiring Leadership Development (WILD) event, which is being held today in Westminster, Colorado.

"We're thrilled to be involved in this event as part of our firm-wide initiative to attract, retain and mentor a strong network of women attorneys and support the encouragement of women in leadership positions," said Cooley business partner Laura Medina, a member of the Cooley Women's Initiative and an active supporter of the Women's Council.

The Women's Council is an outgrowth of the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado. The Council's WILD Summit is an event that brings together students and inspiring leaders at all stages of their professional careers to share and exchange knowledge and experiences. During the one-day event, attendees will delve into the trends that are driving tomorrow's business opportunities and discover how women are influencing change.
