Cooley LLP Advises Best Doctors as it Receives Record $45 Million Investment

Boston, MA – September 5, 2012 – Cooley LLP announced today that it advised Best Doctors as it received a $45 million investment from BBH Capital Partners IV, L.P., a private equity fund sponsored by Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.  This is the largest investment to date Best Doctors has received.

Best Doctors works with the best five percent of doctors to find the right diagnoses and right treatments, and seamlessly integrates its trusted services with employers' other health-related benefits. In addition to its clinical advocacy in the US, Best Doctors designs and implements international insurance programs that help people be sure they get the best care and the right care.

The Cooley team advising on the transaction was led by partner Marc Recht and included associates Anna Jarosinski, Joanna Lin and Mike Chapin.
