Tanisha James spent years preparing for a career path that didn’t yet exist
As a deal lawyer with more than 15 years of experience in Big Law, 10 spent at Cooley, she learned how companies are built, funded, scaled and operated. In 2022, she took that cumulative experience and moved into the business side full time. She now channels her legal and operator perspective into sports tech and AI, guided by a clear sense of purpose around mentorship, access and impact.
