NHL Adds First-Ever Major League Team Franchise in Las Vegas

Los Angeles – June 24, 2016 – The National Hockey League has voted to add a franchise in Las Vegas. The team, which has yet to be named, will play in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference. This is the first major league team for the city of Las Vegas.

Cooley is advising Hockey Vision Las Vegas LLC, the investment group that will own the Las Vegas franchise, led by Fidelity National Financial Chairman Bill Foley, on certain matters.
