The China Institute of International Antitrust and Investment (CIIAI) are holding a full day program on the application of technology and antitrust law.  Cooley partner Becket McGrath will be chairing a panel exploring the concept of “big data” and its importance in both merger control and antitrust assessments and also discuss whether the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) might have its own antitrust implications, such as whether the obligations imposed may strengthen the market power of large internet platforms.
