Cooley advised Cerberus Capital Management, a global leader in alternative investing with approximately $65 billion in assets across complementary credit, real estate and private equity strategies, on its growth investment in Aquatech, a global leader in water technology and services for industrial and infrastructure markets.

Cooley advised Perceptive Advisors, a top healthcare investment firm, and its affiliates, including Perceptive Discovery Fund, on its definitive merger agreement with Vapotherm, a publicly traded developer and manufacturer of advanced respiratory technology based in Exeter, New Hampshire, and listed as VAPO on the over-the-counter quotation exchange (OTCQX).

Cooley advised the underwriters of Silvaco, a leading provider of technology computer-aided design (TCAD), electronic design animation (EDA) software, and session initiation protocol (SIP) solutions that enable semiconductor design and artificial intelligence through software and innovation, on its $114 million initial public offering.

Cooley advised General Catalyst as lead investor in Charm Industrial’s $100 million Series B financing. Charm Industrial is a developer of carbon removal technology, using plants to capture carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, then converting biomass into a stable, carbon-rich liquid to be pumped deep underground. Harley Brown led the Cooley team advising General Catalyst.

Cooley advised Baylis Medical on its agreement to sell its cardiology business to Boston Scientific for an upfront payment of $1.75 billion. Michael McGrail, Michal Berkner, William Corcoran, Jacqueline Grise and Joshua Friedman led the Cooley team advising Baylis Medical.
