About Sale
Sale Kwon works with high-growth emerging companies, startup founders and venture capital investors in many different industries, advising them on company formations, venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic, commercial and general corporate matters over the full life cycle of his clients.
Sale was recognized as a Next Generation Partner in Venture Capital and Emerging Companies by the Legal 500 from 2021 through 2023. Sale speaks frequently on various topics relating to startups and venture capital at Stanford Graduate School of Business, Stanford Law School and California Western School of Law and served as a member of the investment committee of the Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs United (SA&E).
Fluent in Korean, Sale is also actively involved in various South Korean organizations in the startup/venture ecosystem, including K Innovation Center Silicon Valley (KICSV), Korea Development Bank (KDB), Korea International Trade Association (KITA), Korea Investment Corporation (KIC), Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and Korea Venture Investment Corporation (KVIC).
