Jane Adams

Jane Adams advises public and private life sciences companies in a broad range of commercial and corporate finance matters. She focuses on complex commercial life sciences transactions, including strategic alliances, research and development collaborations, technology licenses and acquisitions, supply, distribution and manufacturing agreements, and profit-sharing and co-promotion arrangements, and has extensive experience in assisting clients in negotiating and maintaining relationships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Jane represents a number of non-profit organizations engaged in the research and development of pharmaceutical products, diagnostics, other medical products and research tools.  She also regularly counsels clients on a wide array of corporate and securities matters, including private financings, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. Jane works closely with her clients to understand each client's business and strategic objectives and to structure and negotiate transactions to meet those objectives.

Jane has been a guest speaker on strategic partnering and corporate issues affecting life sciences companies at various conferences.

Jane has been recognized as a leading lawyer in the nation. In 2006, she was named to The Lawdragon 3000 Leading Lawyers in America as well as Lawdragon's 500 New Stars, New Worlds list. In 2007, Jane was named by her peers and colleagues to the "Top San Diego County Attorneys" list in the category of Corporate Transactional and in 2010 in the category of IP Transactional as published by the San Diego Daily Transcript. She has also been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America in the category of Biotechnology Law and Life Sciences, and received San Diego "Lawyer of the Year" for Biotechnology Law 2017. In 2014, and 2018-2019, Jane was named as a Southern California Super Lawyer.
