Jodie Bourdet, Partner

Jodie M. Bourdet is a partner in the Cooley Business department and is resident in the San Francisco office. Ms. Bourdet joined the firm in 1994 and has been a partner since 2000.

Ms. Bourdet's specialty is corporate and securities law. Her practice is devoted to the representation of technology, life sciences and other high-growth companies, and the investment banks and venture capital funds that support them. Ms. Bourdet regularly assists clients with mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, public offerings and strategic relationship transactions. In addition, she often advises clients on corporate governance matters, SEC and stock exchange reporting and compliance, executive hiring and employee equity incentive programs. Ms. Bourdet works with clients of all sizes, ranging from small startups to successful public companies.

Ms. Bourdet received a J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley (Boalt Hall) in 1992. She received a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1989.

Ms. Bourdet is a member of the State Bar of California and the American Bar Association.
