Cooley Fortifies Technology Transactions Group

Palo Alto – March 27, 2018 – TJ Graham is joining Cooley’s Palo Alto office as a partner in the firm’s technology transactions group. He arrives from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.

“TJ is a skilled and highly regarded practitioner whose extensive experience in a range of technology transactions spanning many industries will prove an invaluable asset to our clients,” said Keith Berets, who heads Cooley’s technology transactions group. “The demand for complex technology transactions work has been on the rise, and TJ’s talent will be a significant addition to our growing practice.”

Graham works with clients at all stages of their life cycles. His representations include companies’ most important technology and other business transactions, with a special focus on those involving technology innovations, software, consumer products and digital media. He also has deep experience structuring and negotiating a multitude of strategic mergers, acquisitions and corporate divestitures. 

“I am excited to be joining a firm with such momentum and dedication to its ever growing base of sophisticated clients,” Graham said. “I am especially drawn by the opportunity to help lead the growth of Cooley’s technology transactions team on the West Coast in a truly collaborative environment.”

Graham received his BS from Louisiana State University and is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology.
