Andrea Bromfeld is a special counsel in the Credit Finance practice group and a member of the Cooley LLP Business department. She joined Kronish Lieb Weiner & Hellman LLP in 1997, which was merged into Cooley Godward Kronish LLP in 2006. She is resident in the New York office.
She specializes in credit finance, representing both lenders and borrowers in a wide range of secured financings. These include both the origination and restructuring of senior secured loans, revolving credit facilities, acquisition financings and factoring and asset based lending transactions. Lenders represented include HSBC Bank USA, N.A. and CIT Corporation.
She also practices in the areas of life sciences, technology transactions, trademark copyright and advertising and Internet law.
Ms. Bromfeld received a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1995, where she served as a member of the Fordham Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. She graduated cum laude and received the Senior Prize and West Publishing Company award. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the Univeristy of Michigan in 1990.
Ms. Bromfeld is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
