Ari is a litigation associate at Cooley. They received their JD from the UCLA School of Law, where they were awarded membership in the Order of Barristers, a national honorary organization that provides recognition for individuals who have excelled in advocacy and service at their respective schools. During law school, Ari served as the moot court president, co-chief production editor for the Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs, and admissions chair for the Latinx Law Students Association. Ari’s law school team won the Hispanic National Bar Association Vision in Action Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court Competition, and Ari earned the Best Advocate award. Ari also externed for Judge Jacqueline Nguyen of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
