EnerNOC Sells to Enel Group for More Than $300 Million

Boston – June 29, 2017 – Cooley advised EnerNOC on its agreement to be acquired by the Enel Group, a global energy company based in Italy, for more than $300 million, including EnerNOC's net debt. The transaction is expected to close in Q3.

Founded in 2001, EnerNOC is a Boston-based provider of demand response solutions and energy intelligence software. With capabilities to better address budgets and procurement, utility bill management, facility analysis and optimization, sustainability and reporting, project tracking and demand management, EnerNOC's SaaS platform helps enterprises control energy costs, mitigate risk and streamline compliance and sustainability reporting.
