Susan Krumplitsch is a litigation associate in the intellectual property litigation practice. Her practice focuses on intellectual property disputes and strategic counseling for life science companies, with an emphasis on patent litigation. She represents innovative biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device companies in trial, appellate and post-grant review proceedings at the US Patent and Trademark Office, including inter partes review proceedings. She has worked with a wide variety of technologies including pharmaceutical formulations, small molecule drug compounds, mammalian cell lines, biofuels, biologics, automated DNA sequencing and magnetic resonance angiography. Susan's trial experience includes bench and jury trials in federal courts, hearings before the International Trade Commission and domestic arbitrations. She also has significant pro bono experience representing asylum applicants.
