Kenneth J. Adelson is senior counsel in Cooley's Litigation department and resident in the San Francisco office. He joined Cooley in 1976, was chair of the litigation department for five years until 1998, and was partner in charge of the San Francisco office for seven years until 2006. Kenneth specializes in business litigation, with a particular emphasis on real estate litigation and disputes involving partnership and corporate governance issues. His experience includes claims related to the interpretation and enforcement of contracts, partnership agreements, corporate documents, commercial leases, and real estate purchase and sale agreements. He is also well versed in handling design and construction defect claims; CC&Rs, easements and boundary disputes; partition actions; and commercial property and liability insurance coverage issues.
