Jess Hutto-Schultz advises emerging and public companies on commercial and intellectual property transactions. Her comprehensive experience in the technology sector allows her to connect and align with the unique demands of fast-paced digital environments and to quickly understand the technology driving clients' businesses in order to achieve strategic transactional objectives. Jess has experience drafting commercial, intellectual property, and technology agreements, including terms of use and privacy policies, collaboration agreements, influencer agreements, and commercial and IP licenses. She assists clients with various commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments. Jess also advises financial services clients on compliance with state and federal finance laws, money transmission, consumer/commercial lending and operation of financial products and services. Jess maintains an active pro bono practice and currently assists individuals seeking to prove innocence of crimes for which they have been convicted.
