Palo Alto– February 11, 2015 – Corporate partner Danielle Naftulin has been selected for recognition at the 31st Annual YWCA Tribute to Women awards on May 12, 2015. The organization will honor 36 outstanding executive women for their achievements and recognizes the companies for which they work.
Naftulin is a partner in Cooley's Emerging Companies and Venture Capital Financings practice groups. Her practice focuses on the representation of issuers and venture capital investors in the formation and financing of emerging technology and life sciences companies. She also counsels emerging companies on recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions, spin-outs and general corporate matters and has experience representing companies on public offerings and various other public financing and strategic transactions. Naftulin also advises public companies with respect to their reporting requirements and corporate governance obligations. In addition to her client work, Naftulin is active within the firm as a mentor to associates and serves as a counselor in the firm's women's initiative program to more than ten attorneys.

The YWCA Silicon Valley's mission is to empower women, children and families, and eliminate racism, hatred and prejudice. The awards program is one of the primary fundraisers for the YWCA Silicon Valley, which provides critical services to more than 18,000 residents of Santa Clara County each year, including providing sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking awareness. In addition, YWCA provides counseling, child care and an after school program for girls known as TechGYRLS.
