Palo Alto, Calif. – Cooley advised Clear Ventures on the formation of its first fund at $120 million.
Founded by veteran company builders and venture investors Chris Rust and Rajeev Madhavan, Clear is a Silicon Valley-based early-stage investment firm.
Clear has eight companies in its portfolio, including six that the two invested in together as angel investors and have since folded into Clear's portfolio. Some of the companies in Clear's portfolio include Reflektion, a company providing real-time individualized commerce; Vera, a cyber security company; Paysa, an online career platform; and Robin Systems, an infrastructure software company.
The Cooley team advising Clear Ventures on its fund formation included Craig Dauchy, John Clendenin and Will Newsom.
