Unsecured Creditors of Fuhu Sell to Mattel

Cooley advised the official committee of unsecured creditors of Fuhu, the maker of nabi tablets for children, on the sale of substantially all of its assets to Mattel for $21.5 million. The sale ensures a distribution to creditors. Cooley also preserved the right to investigate and, if appropriate, pursue causes of action against the company's directors and officers, providing creditors with another potential source of recovery.
