Defending Mobile-App Developers Against Claims of Improper Access to Address Book Data

Currently defending leading social media and messaging mobile app developers in a class action alleging our client's apps transmitted users' address book contacts without adequate disclosure or user consent. Plaintiffs originally brought 12 causes of action, and through multiple rounds of motions on the pleadings, only one of plaintiffs' common-law claims survived.
