The Tax group is chaired by Dan Meehan. It was founded by James S. Eustice, the Gerald L. Wallace Professor of Taxation at New York University School of Law and the co-author of the oft-cited treatise Federal Income Taxation of Corporations and Shareholders. In fact, six of our attorneys have taught tax law in the Graduate Tax Program at New York University School of Law, the pre-eminent tax law program in the United States. Moreover, many of our attorneys have received LLMs in tax, and most of them have expertise in other areas of law as well, including corporate and securities law, investment fund formation, compensation and benefits and estate planning. This breadth of experience enables us to see the big picture and work efficiently to achieve client objectives.
