Susan L. Piascik is an associate in the Trademark, Copyright, and Advertising practice group and a member of the firm's Litigation Department. She joined Cooley Godward Kronish in 2006 and is resident in the Washington, DC office.
Her practice focuses on client counseling, prosecution, licensing, due diligence analyses and litigation in the field of trademark and copyright law.
Ms. Piascik received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2006. While in law school, she acted as External Affairs Editor for the University of Richmond Journal of Law & Technology and served as a member of the Client Counseling & Negotiation Board.
Ms. Piascik received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia. Prior to law school, Ms. Piascik was a patent examiner at the United States Patent & Trademark Office in the Mechanical Technologies group.
Ms. Piascik is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia. She is a member of the American Bar Association, American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Virginia State Bar.
