Shannon Gallagher-Bolton is an associate in the Cooley Business department. She joined the firm in 2007 and is resident in the San Diego office.
Ms. Gallagher-Bolton has a general corporate transactional practice. She represents both privately-held and public companies in a wide range of transactions, including public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic collaborations.
Prior to joining Cooley, Ms. Gallagher-Bolton was a corporate associate in the Los Angeles office of Kaye Scholer LLP, where her practice focused on mergers and acquisitions.
Ms. Gallagher-Bolton received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2006, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as the Business and Production Editor of the Pepperdine Review. In addition, Ms. Gallagher-Bolton earned a certificate from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution and the Geoffrey H. Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law. In 2003, Ms. Gallagher-Bolton graduated from University of California, Berkeley, earning her B.S. in business administration from the Haas School of Business and her B.A. in Legal Studies with highest honors.
Ms. Gallagher-Bolton is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. She is also a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
