Nicole K. Peppe is a partner in the Venture Capital practice group and a member of the Cooley Business department. She joined the Firm in 2008 and is resident in the Boston office.
Ms. Peppe's practice is concentrated in the formation of domestic and international investment funds, including venture capital, growth capital, mezzanine, buyout, distressed opportunity, special situations and real estate funds and funds-of-funds. Ms. Peppe also advises fund managers with respect to day-to-day legal, fund maintenance and operational matters, including internal general partner and management company issues. In addition, she represents institutional investors with respect to investments in private equity funds. Ms. Peppe's representative institutional investor clients have included private and public pension funds and leading funds-of-funds.
Prior to joining Cooley, Ms. Peppe was an associate in the Private Investment Funds Group at Proskauer Rose LLP in Boston, as well as an associate in the Corporate Department at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP in New York City.
Ms. Peppe received her J.D., cum laude, and M.B.A., with a concentration in Finance, from Boston College Law School/Carroll School of Management in 2001. She received her B.S., summa cum laude, from Suffolk University in 1997.
Ms. Peppe was selected as a "New England Super Lawyers Rising Star" in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
Ms. Peppe is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York.
