Nicole C. Brookshire is a partner in the Cooley Business department. She joined the Firm in 1997 and is resident in the Boston office.
Ms. Brookshire practices corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on the representation of publicly-traded companies, the formation, financing and general representation of emerging growth companies, and the representation of investors and investment bankers involved with such companies. She has counseled public and private company clients in a full range of corporate and securities matters, including venture financing transactions, public offerings, employee incentive programs, mergers and acquisitions, strategic corporate relationships, SEC reporting and compliance, and corporate governance.
Ms. Brookshire received a J.D. from Stanford Law School in 1997, graduating with distinction, and her B.A. in Religious Studies from Carleton College in 1992, graduating magna cum laude and where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Ms. Brookshire is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and California, and is a member of the American Bar Association.
