Meena Seralathan, Patent Agent

Ashanthi Meena Seralathan is a Patent Agent in the Patent Counseling & Prosecution practice group and a member of the firm's Litigation Department.  She joined Cooley in 2012 and is resident in the New York office.

Ms. Seralathan specializes in the preparation and prosecution of domestic and international patent applications. She has experience prosecuting applications relating to a broad variety of technology, including web applications, financial services, software, and networking technologies.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Seralathan was a Patent Agent at Chadbourne & Parke LLP in its New York office.  Prior to that, Ms. Seralathan was a Research Assistant with Bryn Mawr College and University of North Carolina, Charlotte, working on research topics such as developmental robotics, Computer Science education, artificial intelligence, and video game design and technology.  She holds a B.S. from Haverford College.

Ms. Seralathan is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
