Margaret Branick-Abilla, Associate

Margaret I. Branick-Abilla is an associate in the Contract & Commercial Disputes practice group and a member of the Cooley Litigation department. She joined the Firm in 2002 and is resident in the Palo Alto office.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Branick-Abilla worked in quality assurance and regulatory affairs for human tissue transplant and medical device companies in the San Francisco bay area.

Ms. Branick-Abilla received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2002. While at Hastings, she served as Executive Editor for the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review and published a Note, Extradition and the Conflict in Northern Ireland: The Past, Present and Future of an Intractable Problem, 25 Hastings Int'l & Comp. L. Rev. 169 (2002). Ms. Branick-Abilla also served on the Hastings Moot Court Board and received the 2001 David E. Snodgrass Moot Court Competition Award. Ms. Branick-Abilla also was elected to the Order of the Coif and the Hastings Thurston Society. Prior to attending law school, she received an M.A. in Comparative Politics from University College Dublin and a B.A. in Government, with honors, from the University of Notre Dame.

Ms. Branick-Abilla is a member of the State Bar of California and the American Bar Association.
