Lisa S. Dumaw is an associate in the Cooley Godward Kronish Business department. She joined the Firm in 1996 and is resident in the Firm's Colorado office.
Ms. Dumaw's practice consists of general business, corporate, partnership and securities law matters with an emphasis on the structuring, formation, operation and investing activities of a variety of private investment funds. She has represented venture capital funds, small business investment companies, buyout funds and funds of funds.
Previously, Ms. Dumaw practiced at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C. in Palo Alto, California and Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP in Boston, Massachusetts. She received her J.D., cum laude, in 1994 from Cornell University, an A.B. in 1991 from the University of Michigan and a B.B.A. in 1988 from the University of Michigan.
Ms. Dumaw is a member of the State Bar of California, the Colorado Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
