Suzanne Sawochka Hooper is a partner in the Cooley Palo Alto office. Ms. Hooper is a member of the Firm's Management Committee and Vice Chair of the Business department. Ms. Hooper has been with the Firm since 1996.
Ms. Hooper practices general corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on securities transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Hooper represents public companies in corporate and securities law matters (with a particular focus on life sciences companies), public and private companies and investment banks in merger and acquisition transactions and issuers and investment banks in public offerings.
Ms. Hooper received a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law in 1991. Ms. Hooper received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1988, where she graduated with high honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Ms. Hooper is a member of the State Bar of California and the American Bar Association.
