Cathryn Le Regulski is an associate in the Employment & Labor practice group and a member of the firm's Litigation Department. She joined the firm in 2006 and is resident in the Reston office.
Ms. Le Regulski focuses her practice on counseling management in the areas of employment discrimination, compliance with labor laws, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour issues. As part of her counseling practice, Ms. Le Regulski assists clients develop and implement personnel practices and procedures, offers training to management on compliance with labor laws, assists clients manage difficult employees, investigates allegations of misconduct, and drafts employment agreements and non-competes.
Ms. Le Regulski's practice also includes litigation involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, as well as common law claims. In addition to representing management clients in federal and state courts, Ms. Le Regulski handles matters before administrative agencies.
Prior to joining Cooley, Ms. Le Regulski was an associate at McGuireWoods LLP. She is a Committee Member of the Virginia Continuing Legal Education, a member of the YLD Executive Council for the Virginia Bar Association, and the Vice President of the Asian American Bar Association.
Ms. Le Regulski received a law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law in 1999, cum laude. She received a B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1996.
Ms. Le Regulski is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Columbia, the Supreme Court of Virginia, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, and the Maryland Court of Appeals. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, and the Maryland Bar.
