Brandee Fernandez is an associate in the Cooley LLP Business department and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions practice group. She joined the Firm in 2003 and is resident in the San Diego office.
Ms. Fernandez counsels both public and private companies in a variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private financings, public offerings, and general commercial law.
Prior to joining Cooley, Ms. Fernandez was licensed by the federal government as an Enrolled Agent. As an Enrolled Agent, she represented taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.
Ms. Fernandez received a J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she worked in the immigration clinic and was elected to the Order of the Coif. She received a Bachelor's degree, cum laude, in Literature and Writing from California State University, San Marcos in 2000.
Ms. Fernandez is admitted to practice law in California and is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and the San Diego County Bar Association.
