Cooley Litigation Head Named Attorney of Year by The Recorder
Palo Alto, Calif. – Dec. 21, 2009 – Michael J. Rhodes, head of the litigation department at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP, was named an "Attorney of the Year" by The Recorder, a leading legal newspaper in California.
Rhodes was one of 16 attorneys chosen for the honor because of his "high-profile achievements … in 2009." Currently, he is representing eBay in a high-profile ownership dispute against Craigslist. He also represented Facebook in its settlement of a class action related to the now-discontinued Beacon advertising program, and helped broker the deal that ended Tesla Motors ongoing dispute with former CEO Martin Eberhard.
