The JOBS Act Feels the Heat

Here's a piece from Bloomberg that lays out some of the criticisms of the JOBS Act from some well-known critics. The article signals that Senate Democrats "have said they will address some of the concerns raised by Levitt, Roper [former SEC Chairman Arthur Levitt and Barbara Roper, director of investor protection for the Consumer Federation of America] and others -- many of them echoed by senior lawmakers such as Senators Jack Reed of Rhode Island and Carl Levin of Michigan. [Senator Charles] Schumer, who has pushed a Senate version of the IPO on-ramp measure, said his chamber's version ‘will have more consumer and investor protections.'
